Waiting For Windows 7

Published by dj2030 at 9:37 am under technology Edit This

I started using computers when Windows95 was just released in the market. How excited I was to find new world of computers with user friendly operating system. Then as the technology advanced, I had Windows 98. With arrival Windows 98, I got connected to the world wide web using a dial up connection Back then 33.3 KBPS was the latest standard for high speed internet connectivity. With 33.3 KBPS modem I was able to use programs which supported voice, data, fax. Then came Windows XP and I bought a new Laptop Compaq Presario M2000.  Modem too got upgraded to 56KBPS built-in type.
Then came the bad news for 56KBPS modem. ADSL broadband had arrived. I am using ADSL now and dial up modem is a thing of past!  DSL model has promptly taken over from 56KBPS dial up modem. With arrival of Windows Vista  I  was going to upgrade  the Laptop to run Windows Vista but I heard  about Windows 7  and decided against it. Now I am waiting for Windows 7, a bad news for windows Vista I guess!
