If you are looking for a small and cheap laptop here is one from Acer, it is called Acer Aspire One AOA110-1948 Notebook PC.  Currently Acer is world leader in smallest notebooks. This particular laptop i.e. Acer Aspire One AOA110-1948 comes equipped with 1.6 GHz Intel Atom processor and 1 GB RAM. It has built in 8GB solid state hard disk and it comes with Linpus Linux Lite (Golden Brown).  It also has a built webcam  and 802.11b/g based wireless adapter. It’s hardware configuration is good enough for using the laptop for internet applications, document writing and playing music. The Linux OS used on this laptop is quite user friendly.  Those who are used to Microsoft Windows will also find this Linux based laptop easy to use.
